Kevin Maxie
Kevin Maxie founded Struck Apparel with the idea that riders needed clothing that stood up to the rigours of our sport, and wanted to build on designs, fabrics, and technologies already utilized in other sports apparel in order to highlight an athletic aesthetic in equestrian clothing. As a former Grand Prix professional himself, and with engineering and MBA degrees behind him, he used insights from the industry to design and build a brand that focuses on sport aesthetics, and to highlight the specific needs of equestrian athletes.
Ashley Maxie
Ashley co-founded Struck with her now husband Kevin after recognizing a need for more athlete-focused clothing for both male and female equestrians. She felt the time was right to move riding apparel forward towards a more sport-oriented market with performance at the forefront. With a background in design and an avid competitor in both eventing and currently showjumping, she identifies opportunities for improvement in traditional equestrian wear, and brings new ideas and designs to life.
